About

This is the FREE 48-HOUR TRIAL of Pulse. Every feature is unlocked, with a small countdown on the dial. After that it keeps working as a plain clock. The full version is a separate watch face - buy it, install it, then select it on your watch. Get the full version here: https://apps.garmin.com/en-GB/apps/ee47e1fd-fbc8-4dd9-873b-aedc8bc91b36 Like this watch face? Please consider leaving a review or sending me feedback directly, it really helps the development! Pulse puts your heart rate front and centre. A big, calm heart-rate number sits dead-centre with an ECG-style trace drawn beneath it — a decorative PQRST-shaped waveform, not a real reading. It sits on a true-black AMOLED screen so it glows and nothing else gets in its way. Around the rim runs an activity goal ring, and up top a quiet status strip shows your battery, your phone connection and unread notifications. A letter-spaced date and a thin, near-white time keep the centre uncluttered. It is built to be glanced at, read in a second, and trusted. Everything around the heart rate is yours to set. The activity ring can track steps, active minutes, floors, calories or distance against your own goal. Three small ring-gauges along the bottom each pull from a core catalogue, each drawn as its own crisp icon. Body: heart rate, SpO2, stress, Body Battery, respiration. Activity: steps, floors, distance, active minutes, calories. Weather: temperature, feels-like, humidity, precipitation, wind and UV index. Plus elevation, pressure, battery, notifications and date. The two flanks that frame the time reach wider still. Garmin health data: resting heart rate, heart-rate zone, VO2 max for run and bike, recovery time, race predictions from 5K to marathon, and on newer watches sleep score. Derived stats: active calories, ascent, descent, weekly intensity minutes, goal remainders for steps, floors and intensity, move bar. Environment: solar intensity, the day's high and low, dew point, and from your location sunrise and sunset. Theme the whole dial with one of six palettes and pick from eighteen accent colours per slot, or leave a slot on Auto and let the palette colour it for you. Choose from three display styles: the ring swept to the very edge, a classic tick bezel, or Full Screen with no ring at all. Then set how the unfilled ring track reads — subtle, visible, or tinted with the ring colour. The time, heart rate and every readout are set in a custom-baked typeface, smoothly anti-aliased for clean, exact letterforms. The always-on display is burn-in-safe by design: a dimmed, low-pixel render that shows just the time, or the time and date, or the time, date and battery — your choice. There are no ticking seconds, to spare your battery. Turn the ECG-style trace, the status strip or the notification cue off for an even quieter face. Or swap the ECG-style trace for a real history sparkline: heart rate, Body Battery, stress, Pulse Ox, temperature, pressure or elevation. The ECG-style trace has its own colour, the date line can be switched off, and switching the trace off hides its reading too, letting the clock grow into the space. Press and hold any reading to open the full metric. Set the palette, display style, ECG band, status strip and ring track from the watch itself, or in the Garmin Connect IQ app. Disclaimer: the ECG line on this watch face is purely for aesthetic purposes only. This watch should not be treated as a medical device, and must not be used to treat or diagnose any conditions or diseases.

What's new

V1.4.0 - New Full Screen display style: switch the goal ring off and the whole face expands into its space. The ECG band can now show a real history sparkline instead: choose heart rate, Body Battery, stress, Pulse Ox, temperature, pressure or elevation. New goal ring track setting: keep the unfilled ring subtle, make it visible, or tint it with the ring colour. Bigger, clearer status icons and a tighter always-on layout. Sleep score now appears as a choice only on watches that support it. The ECG / sparkline now has its own colour setting. The date line can be turned off. Switching the ECG / sparkline off now hides its reading too, and the clock grows to use the space. Settings tidied: every complication is now in one Complications section. The goal ring now runs right to the edge of the screen. V1.3.1 - First trial version: GET THE FULL VERSION: https://apps.garmin.com/en-GB/apps/ee47e1fd-fbc8-4dd9-873b-aedc8bc91b36
