About

A bespoke watch face for a very specific task that runs on FR235. A clear digital display with current and historical heart rate over the last hour, coloured by 5 levels. The reporting interval and heart rate levels can be modified in the settings. Shared in the hope some may like it as is, I don't intend to add any more customisations. Additional details: The coloured right arc (from 5 to 1 O'Clock) shows the battery level, green above 25% and red when below 25%. The arc length depends on the battery % level. Additionally on the bottom right the battery % (or number of days left for watches that support this) is also shown. The arc on the left is the fraction of steps target (red below 100% and green once the target is met), with the number of steps in fractions of 1000s (k) displayed on the bottom left. The min and max heartrate values displayed at the top of the screen are over the coloured display period (default 1 hour). The heatrates are recorded once every minute, so they are the min/max of these recorded values. I use the same colours in the same order that garmin use for heart rate zones. The main reason is to be consistent, but also most watches can show these colours. The only exception is that I added purple as a final high value colour. So the 6 colours from low to high are grey, blue, green, orange, red and purple. The heart rates can be set in the settings, with grey below 'Sleep' and purple above 'Hard activity' with the other colours between the other heart rate set points. There is a settings option to replace Orange with Yellow colour to improve clarity on some watches.
