ISLANDTIME
· v1.0.0
About
ISLANDTIME is a hand-drawn tropical scene where the time is spelled out in palm
trees. Four palms stand in the sand of a small island — three if your watch is
set to 12-hour time — with two coconuts hanging between them as the colon. Above
them, a bright cartoon sky. Below them, a turquoise sea.
And the whole scene is alive. Waves roll across the water in three rows, each at
its own speed. Clouds drift across the sky through the day, the nearer ones
moving faster than the far ones, and every wrist-raise nudges them a little
further along. A smiling sun climbs from the horizon, passes overhead and sinks
again; at night a moon takes its place and the island cools into moonlit blue —
sky, sea and sand all settling down together, while the moon and the palm-tree
time stay bright and easy to read.
Your weather is part of the picture, not a widget pasted on top. The current
conditions from your watch are drawn straight into the sky: cloud puffs gather,
rain streaks down, snow drifts, lightning cracks, wind swirls, fog rolls in. It
is still your island in every kind of weather — the scene never swaps itself out
for a photo or a generic weather screen.
There is nothing to set up and nothing to sign in to. Install it, pick it as
your watch face, and go.
What you get:
• Time in palm-tree digits with a coconut colon — 12h or 24h, following your
watch's own setting
• Live local weather drawn into the island sky: clouds, rain, snow, storms,
wind, fog and sleet
• Waves rolling across the sea in three rows, at three different speeds
• Clouds drifting across the sky all day, with the near ones moving faster
• A sun that arcs across the sky by day, a moon that takes over at night
• A cool, moonlit night scene with the time still bright and legible
• A quiet, burn-in-safe always-on display on AMOLED watches
• Drawn twice over — tuned separately for AMOLED and MIP screens, day and night
• Runs on 90 round Garmin watches, Connect IQ 3.2 and newer
This is the full version: no reminder panel, no subscription, no ads. One
purchase and the island is yours.
A time-only face — no date, no data fields, no settings to dig through. Just the
time, and somewhere nicer to look.
