About
HITT for Garmin lets you record your workouts on your Garmin watch and have them show up automatically in the HITT iPhone app.
WHAT IT DOES
Launch HITT from your watch's Connect IQ apps list, pick a sport — Run, Walk, Bike, Swim, Strength, or HIIT — and start recording. HITT starts a native Garmin activity session, tracks your time, and saves the workout to Garmin Connect when you're done.
If you use HITT on iPhone, your recorded workout flows from Garmin Connect through Apple Health into the HITT app, where it appears alongside your other activity and feeds into your HITT training plan.
WHO IT'S FOR
HITT users who wear a Garmin. Rather than juggling two systems — a HITT plan on your phone and a separate workout on your watch — you get one place to record and one place to see the results.
WHAT'S IN THIS VERSION
This first release focuses on the core recording flow: pick a sport, start, pause, save. Simple and reliable. Recorded activities include heart rate, calories, distance, and GPS if your device supports it — all captured by Garmin's own native recording system.
COMING NEXT
Direct Bluetooth pairing between the HITT iPhone app and your Garmin — so structured HIIT interval workouts and triathlon plans built in HITT show up on your watch with proper interval cues and per-leg targets. Live in-workout metrics mirroring back to the iPhone. Save-and-share to your HITT feed straight from the watch.
SUPPORTED DEVICES
Forerunner 165, 255, 265, 265s, 955, 965. Fenix 7 series. Epix 2 and Epix Pro. Venu 3, Venu 3s, Venu Sq 2. Edge 540, 840, 1040, 1050. Instinct 2, 2s, 2x.
NEEDS
The HITT iPhone app to see your Garmin activities show up in HITT. Garmin Connect Mobile paired to your watch (which you already have). Apple Health sync from Garmin Connect turned on (Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Garmin Connect → turn on Workouts). No account creation required — install and start recording.
Feedback and issues: reply through the Connect IQ Store or email through the HITT support page.
What's new
Post-workout errors no longer show if the direct push to HITT fails; the Fit-file sync via Apple Health still runs as fallback. New "Reset pairing" option at the bottom of the sport picker so you can re-pair from the watch if your iPhone unpaired the watch remotely.
