About

NDR-One Max puts a big, instantly readable clock at the center of a true-black instrument dashboard: activity rings, weather, training data and a 3-day calendar framing the time, all at a glance. Rearrange every slot on the watch or phone. MAKE IT YOURS, ON THE WATCH Long-press the clock to open Customize and rebuild the face in seconds: swap the corner rings, set the top and bottom status bands, change the header and footer chips, switch themes. TAP THROUGH TO THE DETAIL Long-press any metric and NDR-One Max opens its native Garmin glance: the Body Battery ring for its drain history, the Sleep Score ring for last night's sleep, the VO2 Max or Recovery readout for the training detail. (On touch models that enable watch-face touch.) THE BIG CLOCK A big, permanent clock in heavy condensed numerals, the largest time on any NDR face, with no toggle to shrink it. It stays dominant in every theme and in always-on, so the time reads in half a second: mid-run, in sunlight, across a room. The switchable chart and the heart-rate badge from NDR-One Pro are dropped here on purpose, to keep the face calm and the time front and center. WHAT YOU CAN PUT ON IT Eleven ring options for the four corner slots: Steps, Floors, Intensity Minutes, Calories, Active Calories, Body Battery, VO2 Max, VO2 Cycling, Stress, Pulse Ox, and Sleep Score (on Garmin watches that report a nightly sleep score). Status bands, top and bottom center: Training Status, Recovery Time, a 3-day calendar, Daily Distance, Weekly Run, Weekly Bike, Pressure, Active Calories, Resting HR, Live HR, or the NDR mark. Header and footer bars: the weather block, a Hi/Lo chip, the battery, a UV Index, Feels Like or Humidity chip, Sunrise and Sunset, World clock (second time zone with an on-watch city picker), Altitude, Pressure, Wind, Respiration, Daily Distance, Weekly Run, Weekly Bike, Phone Notifications, Active Calories, Resting HR, Live HR, and an Alarms count. Battery and weather can swap places, and either can be off. A REAL ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY In always-on, the same layout stays on screen, dimmed to a low-power palette and shifting a few pixels each minute to guard against burn-in. Choose the full dimmed layout, a monochrome variant, or a clock-only view for the longest battery. Live data, no animated seconds, not a frozen screenshot. SIX COLOR THEMES - Atlas Prism: multi-color, every metric in its own hue (default) - Signal Amber: warm amber on black - Glacier Cyan: cool blue on black - Crimson Frost: deep red, night-vision friendly - Monolith White: pure grey on black, every accent stripped out - Forest Green: an earthy green that sits easy on black BUILT LIKE AN APP, NOT A WALLPAPER Under the layout is a real application, not a background with a few widgets dropped on top. Every reading runs live, never a static number: heart rate flags when it goes stale, the battery steps from full color to amber to red, a ring lights the moment its goal is met, and a widget whose sensor your watch lacks hides itself instead of showing "--". Your layout, theme and settings are saved on the watch and survive reboots and updates. GARMIN-NATIVE, PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Every metric comes from Garmin's own services (Activity Monitor, UserProfile, SensorHistory, Complications, Weather). No third-party accounts, no API keys, no tracking, and no network calls of its own. It asks only for the permissions it uses. One-time purchase, no subscription. 36 AMOLED DEVICES Fenix 8 and 8 Pro, Fenix E, Epix Gen 2 and Pro, Venu 3, Vivoactive 5 and 6, Forerunner 165, 170, 265, 570, 965 and 970, D2 Mach 1 and 2, MARQ Gen 2, Approach S50 and S70, Descent G2 and Mk3, and more. Full list shown at install; AMOLED only by design. By NDRLabs

What's new

v1.2.2 - Faster wake from the always-on display: the face now does less work on the frame it draws when you raise your wrist, so it appears sooner. v1.2.1 - Fixed the main clock colon overlapping the hour digit at times ending in 4 or 7 (e.g. 14:04). - The 3-day calendar (previous / today / next) now shows on smaller-screen devices. v1.2.0 - New Sleep Score ring for the corner slots: shows your latest Garmin Sleep Score, color-coded by Garmin's Excellent / Good / Fair / Poor bands. Press and hold the ring to open the native Sleep screen. Requires a device that reports Sleep Score. v1.1.0 - Fixed a startup crash on Forerunner 165 / 165 Music, Vivoactive 5, Forerunner 70, Approach S50 and Descent G2 that could show the "IQ!" error when weather data was present. - New Alarm widget for the header/footer bars: an alarm-clock icon that lights on the accent color when any alarm is set.
