CodeMark - Time Logger
· v2.4
About
CodeMark — Your timeline. Captured in real time.
CodeMark is a rapid timeline logger primarily designed for frontline EMS medical providers such as Paramedics, EMTs, and Firefighters, however, could be used for anyone looking to timestamp or time anything!
CodeMark allows you to record important clinical events, or any time, with a quick tap.
Log events such as:
- Medications and interventions
- ROSC and cardiac arrest milestones
- Defibrillation and rhythm changes
- Airway interventions
- ETCO₂ measurements
- IV/IO access
- Epi administrations (with automatic timers!)
- Transport and handoff milestones
- Custom timeline markers
Every event is automatically timestamped, giving you a chronological timeline without requiring you to stop and manually record the time. An excellent resource when running a code or if you have a critical patient requiring your focus - no pen, no paper, just accurate time stamped logs, right on your wrist.
Instructions:
Simply tap the screen or hit the menu button to start a new event.
Tapping any of the 6 buttons on the screen gives you a reference that is timestamped in the log, or press and hold on a relevant button to get a more extensive list of items to insert (for example, holding down 'MED', gives a list of medications).
When looking to review your timestamps later, just open codemark, hit the menu button, and open your saved logs. CodeMark will keep your last 3 logs in storage for you, starting at the beginning of the event. Just scroll through as needed.
Never worry about not knowing when an event occurred, how many epi pushes were given, or when you achieved ROSC. Its all there.

Privacy & Patient Information
CodeMark is designed to record clinical event timelines without collecting or storing patient-identifying information. The app contains no fields, functions, or mechanisms for entering patient names, dates of birth, health card numbers, addresses, phone numbers, patient numbers, or other patient identifiers. Patient-identifying information cannot be entered into the application.
The app does not use GPS or record the user's location. It does not require a patient name, incident number, or other identifying information to create or review a timeline.
Because CodeMark is intentionally limited to recording event times, clinical events, and selected numerical values, patient identity is not part of the information stored by the application.
Users should nevertheless follow their employer's policies and applicable privacy legislation when using any electronic device or application in connection with patient care.
Clinical Disclaimer
CodeMark is a documentation and event-timing tool intended to assist healthcare professionals in recording the timing and sequence of events.
CodeMark does not assess patients, make clinical decisions, provide diagnosis, or provide or direct treatment or dosage recommendations. It is not a substitute for clinical judgment, established protocols, or required patient-care documentation.
CodeMark is not intended to assist in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions, or in the cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease.
CodeMark functions as an integrated clock/timer and electronic event log, analogous to using a stopwatch and written notes to record when events occur. Its function is limited to recording information entered by the user and associating that information with a timestamp.
Redundant Timekeeping:
CodeMark is designed to supplement your normal timekeeping method, not replace it. Maintain an independent backup method for critical operational times.
