RadiaCode Data Field

About
WARNING! It seems incompatible with Garmin devices released before 2022. The developer has confirmed its functionality on a RadiaCode-101 and 110 devices with Fenix 7X and Edge 1050. Older Garmin devices (like Fenix 6) seems to be incompatible due to Garmin Bluetooth limitations. The developer can not do anything with that, sorry. You also can install BleScan application and check if your Garmin device can discover your dosimeter.
This is an unofficial Data Field for RadiaCode 1xx series radiation dosimeters.
It is not separate application. You need to add this Data Field to any screen of activity and start activity recording. It automatically connects to the closest dosimeter (you can set MAC-address of your dosimeter in smartphone Connect IQ application, but it is not necessary at all) and shows the current dose rate in μSv/h (might be configured), with updates occurring every 5 seconds (also might be configured).
Additionally, the Data Field integrates dose and count rate data into the FIT file. This allows you to visualize this information as charts within your activity details on Garmin Connect.
The FIT file with dose data also can be converted to RadiaCode application RCTRK format using the simple website: https://radiagarmin.naglaz.tech/. Result RCTRK file can be imported in RadiaCode application on Map tab.
Activity in FIT format can be loaded from https://connect.garmin.com/modern/home. Just select your activity, press gear icon, then "Export File" and unpack the zip file.
IMPORTANT: Connecting your dosimeter to the Garmin device may sometimes clear the stored dosimeter data used for charts in the mobile application. Regrettably, the developer does not currently have a solution for this. Unfortunately, the developer is currently unable to resolve this issue. Settings and alarm events will not be affected.
What's new
v5 release adds ability to set measurement units in application settings. Connection timeout is also increased to improve connection in some rare cases.
v4 release adds update interval setting. Dose and count rate might be updated with 1 – 10 second interval. 5 seconds is set by default.
v3 release fixes a persistent "SEARCH" label issue and allows to set the MAC address of RadiaCode device (you can use the nRF Connect Android application for MAC adress discovering).
v2 release adds ability to connect to the RadiaCode on some Garmin devices. Also Data Field shows RadiaCode serial number during connection if it is possible.
