As in my previous creations, in first place my goal is to create a watchface with a creative design, neat, clean that visually impacts and of course has a good battery consumption. Start ant activity with GPS, when you have a valid GPS signal, exit activity. Sincronize your device with smartphone Garmin App and in a few minutes you must have info.(in other case shows GPS text). To obtain the weather forecast, it connects to openweather and obtains the information thanks to the location of the watch(it indicates the position from where the information is to be obtained). Each openweather free key has a maximum number of connections per day, if you use your own, you will never exceed the maximum limit of 1000 connections per day, on the other hand if you use the one that comes by default it will surely not work correctly, the information will stop updating. #3 HOW TO GENERATE OpenWeatherMap API Key? You can get it for free following next steps : • Visit https://openweathermap.org/ and Sign In. • Connect with created identifiers. • Visit https://home.openweathermap.org/api_keys. • Copy the key wich looks like : 7ac1d869b6761199ef842254f60be8d0 (The one included in the code is valid, but I recommend obtaining your own key to avoid problems). • Paste copied API key to the relevant field, in the watchface settings. #4 WHY I DO NOT USE THE GARMIN WEATHER API (3.2) I dont use it, only because my Fenix 5x watch is not compatible, it would not make much sense to create a watchface that I cannot use 100%, I am also a user of my creations. My intention is that it can be used by most devices. When I can upgrade and change my equipment I will use it. Garmin please help me to upgrade my 5x to a 6 series LOL.
