Save The Flag

This is a Pride watch with a twist. I wanted for the rainbow flag to not only be embedded in a design but to actually mean something. With this watch, you have to achieve your steps goal to save the flag from disintegrating. The closer you are to the goal, the more stripes of the flag appear on the screen. (To make the pattern more varied, the flag also makes one full rotation per day and its position depends on the day of the week.) There are two options for scoring your achievements: 1) Percentage of the goal is used — you start the day with just one stripe of the flag and earn more during the day. 2) The score is relative to the part of the day that has already passed. Thus, the score models your odds of achieving the goal. You see the complete flag if these odds are good. The stripes disappearing signal that you have strayed from the path. In both cases, if you achieve your goal, you can go to bed with pride. CAUTION: Its author being gay, this watch face is a tiny part of the LGBT culture.
