Hittaut - Uppsala

Hittaut is an unofficial companion app for HittaUt, the outdoor checkpoint activity run by the Swedish Orienteering Federation (Svenska Orienteringsförbundet) and local orienteering clubs. It points you straight at the nearest checkpoint on your watch, so you can navigate hands-free while walking, running, or biking. Features - Live distance and on-screen compass arrow to your target checkpoint - Auto mode: always aims at the nearest checkpoint you haven't caught yet - Manual mode: pick a specific checkpoint by number - Vibration + tone alert when you get within range of a checkpoint - Keeps a log of which checkpoints you've caught and when, saved on the watch between sessions - Optional run/bike activity recording while you hunt, right from the app - Reset a single checkpoint or start the whole hunt over This app only handles navigation and your own personal catch log — it does not read, register, or submit the letter codes used for the official HittaUt prize draws. Keep noting those codes and registering them through the official HittaUt site or app as usual. Checkpoint locations are built into this version of the app for one specific HittaUt area, so no setup or phone connection is needed in the field — just start the app and go. Requires GPS.
