About

No Support via review system. For questions, please use button "App Support". I'm a private developer and I'm sharing apps/datafiels/widget I developed for my own usage - for free (!!!) to the community. My rewards are if you are happy with my apps/datafiels/widgets and leaving a five star review. If you are not happy or if there are issues, please contact me via "App Support". The Concept2 is a popular rowing machine with ANT interface. AK Rowing is another datafield to - get data from Concept2 PM5 - combine with Garmin data (like HR) - present on Garmin screen - forward to Garmin Connect !!!!!!!!! Important: You must not have paired PM5 with Garmin device, because if paired it's claimed by Germin and no app has access to PM5. !!!!!!!!! Keep in mind: Because of Garmin restrictions, it is not possible to forward distance data to native field in Garmin connect (native value is zero). As a workaround, distance is an own IQ value in the bottom. !!!!!!!!! Because I'm asked several times: Garmin decided the memory limition for datafields on some devices. So if AK Concept2 Rowing App is available for your device, it does not mean that it would work as datafield on your device. Even flagships are affected like 'normal' Fenix6. This datafield version can also be used in a non graphic mode (check Garmin Connect to configure). Simply link Concept2 PM5 with Garmin via ANT, start AK Rowing and start workout. AK Rowing will start and stop automatically. To stop and upload your workout to Garmin Connect, use the 'back' button and follow the dialogue. In setting menu (menu key) there are some setting options. Version for Edge devices is available here: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/826c1470-7778-4f64-948a-32d8d7119f76 The App version is available here: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/74afbe31-c6c4-47ee-8776-3b9778cb676b Some Garmin watches (like FR645 and FR945) are able to send heart rate to Concept2 in parallel. To activate: - on watch go to heartrate/pulse widget - enter settings (e.g. long press up button) - choose option for heartrate/pulse - choose send during activity and switch to 'on' - start AK Rowing - on Concept2 push menu - connect and pair Garmin watch as a normal heart rate monitor. In case of any bug, please contact me via the 'contact developer' button. Thanks Following data are shown on the device: 1st line: HR and speed (in km/h) 2nd line: distance and elapsed time 3rd line: total number of strokes and total calories 4rd line left: cadence or chart (power or speed or cadence), can be configured in settings menu 4rd line richt: power or burn rate, can be configured in settings menu If you need to see different data, please contact me via the 'contact developer' button. Thanks. App should also work linked to different rowers, but not tested.
