This face is the beta of the FIELDMASTER concept, released free to gather feedback. The full instrument — fingerprint gate, radar, tailscan, seismic, dead drop and signal intel — is the paid device app ALPHA FIELDMASTER - Spy Watch. ALWAYS ON TIME. NEVER ON FILE. Some watches are worn. Others feel issued. ALPHA FIELDMASTER transforms your Garmin into a covert field instrument: dark, precise and built for assignments that officially never happened. Its chronograph-inspired display combines analog timekeeping with essential daily intelligence, presented with the restraint of purpose-built equipment rather than a conventional fitness dashboard. Twin recessed sub-dials give the face its instrument character. Blue reports watch battery with a live percentage. Green tracks progress toward your daily step goal. Heart rate sits above the hands, with the date readable at a glance. FIELD STATUS The status panel stays neutral in normal operation and speaks only when something needs attention: - Amber warning at 20% watch battery or below - Red critical warning at 5% battery or below - Red warning when heart rate rises above 150 BPM ALWAYS-ON, BY DESIGN Most faces surrender to a bare digital clock the moment your wrist drops. FIELDMASTER holds its position. The wordmark, luminous marker ring, hour batons, analog hands, heart rate and date all remain on screen in the low-power layout, drawn from the same artwork as the full face and shifted a few pixels each minute to protect the display. Version 3.0 — the upgraded dial. Thank you to everyone who installed the first version and sent feedback. This update is what that feedback built: much bigger registers and gauge numbers, sharper text everywhere, and a redesigned always-on display. Every number is now drawn from the design's own artwork instead of a system font, rendered at native resolution for each screen size (360, 390, 416 and 454 px). This face stays free: it is the beta of the FIELDMASTER concept and the place where the design keeps evolving.
