About
A level (also commonly referred to as a bubble level or spirit level) is a tool used to indicate how parallel (level) or perpendicular (plumb) a surface is relative to the earth. This application turns your Garmin device into a level.
This utility is free. If you find it useful and want to contribute, donate to my fēnix 7 fund: https://paypal.me/SmithRyn
- When your device is oriented horizontally (lying flat on a table, for example), you are presented with a bullseye-style level.
- When your device is oriented vertically, you are presented with a horizon line with pitch and roll values.
- To calibrate (zero) the readings, press your device's Start / Select / Enter button. Press again to reset to default sensor readings. To toggle calibration on touch devices that lack buttons, tap the screen.
- In-app options are available through your device's menu button. You can alternatively access options through Garmin Connect. The in-app options menu won't display on older devices (Connect IQ 1.x / 2.x), but options are always available through Garmin Connect.
- Because this application relies solely on accelerometer readings, the readings might not be accurate if your device is actively accelerating.
