Cold Plunge Pro: Ice Bath & Shiver Protocol
· v1.0.10
About
Master cold exposure and unlock the full neurobiological benefits of ice baths and cold showers with Cold Plunge Pro.
Designed for deliberate cold exposure enthusiasts, the app guides you through the immersion phase and the crucial
natural re-warming (shiver) phase — then tracks your progress over time so you can see your tolerance building.
Features
- Guided Protocol — Seamlessly transitions from preparation through cold immersion into a dedicated shiver phase to
maximize metabolic benefits.
- Live Heart Rate — Tracks HR min / avg / max on your wrist throughout the plunge.
- Streak Tracking — Builds a daily streak with a 1-day grace period, so one missed day won't erase your momentum.
- Weekly Goal — Set a weekly cold-time target (in minutes) from the app settings. The This Week screen shows your
progress and turns green when you hit it.
- All-Time Stats — Total sessions, total lifetime cold time, average session, and personal best, all in one place.
- Milestone Celebrations — The app recognises key moments: 10, 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500 sessions, and 1, 5, 10, 25 hours
of total cold exposure.
- Garmin Connect Integration — Every session is saved as an activity with custom immersion and shiver fields.
- Smart Alerts — Warns you if you're plunging late in the evening, when cold exposure can disrupt sleep.
- Customizable Timers — Set your target immersion and shiver duration from the watch or Garmin Connect app settings.
Take the plunge, let your body shiver naturally, and start building real resilience today.
What's new
July 6, 2026
- Weekly progress now resets on your chosen day. New setting "Week Starts On" (Monday, Sunday, or Saturday) in the app settings. Default is Monday. Previously the week reset mid-week.
- Fixed accidental starts and cancels. Starting or ending a plunge now shows a quick confirmation menu, so a stray button press or wet screen can't trigger it.
- Cancelling a plunge now asks for confirmation before discarding, so you can't lose a session by accident.
