Analog hour, minute, and optional second hands, each independently colorable in Green, Orange, Red, Blue, White, or Yellow — tap the center of the face to cycle colors on the fly. Two configurable data zones, each set independently from 12 options: sunrise/sunset, steps, distance, calories, elevation, VO2 max, Body Battery, stress, floors climbed, weekly distance, respiration, or active calories. Beyond the zones, the face always shows heart rate, battery percentage, date and day of week, digital time, current weather with feels-like temperature, humidity, and wind speed, moon phase, and notification count. Choose 12- or 24-hour time, Celsius or Fahrenheit, metric or imperial units. The layout is procedural — it scales cleanly to your specific screen size rather than relying on fixed per-device artwork, so proportions stay right no matter which watch you own.
AMOLED touchscreen devices get:
Three selectable hand styles — Rounded, Squared, Pointed. Tap the center of the watch face to cycle through the six hand colors. Tap heart rate, weather zone and notifications to launch Garmin's native Heart Rate, Weather, and Notifications apps directly from the face. A three-tier Always-On Display mode (Basic, Plus, Full) with burn-in-safe pixel shifting. An optional moon-phase and weather icon row.
Color MIP devices (fēnix 6 and 7 series) get:
A renderer optimized specifically for 240/260/280px color MIP displays. Garmin system fonts for maximum legibility and memory efficiency. A distinctive rounded hollow hand style with a dark-gray/light-gray/accent-color gradient. Full functionality without touch — every setting is reachable from the Connect IQ companion app.
On-watch 5 Day free trial and license status:
Clean Hybrid Pro tells you where you stand right on the face — no trip to your phone required. You'll see small on-screen notices like "Trial: 5 Days Left" or "Trial Ends Tomorrow" as needed. On touchscreen watches, tap the notice to dismiss it, or it clears on its own after a while if you leave it. On button-only watches, since there's no way to tap it away, it's designed to clear itself after a short time so it doesn't linger and clutter your face. Messages about an actual license problem or an ended trial are the exception — those stay visible until you activate a valid license key.
