N13 Axis - Instrument Style Analog
· v1.0.8
About
N13 Axis is an analog watch face designed around a dark instrument-style dial, curved data sections, configurable fields, and strong visual balance.
Custom hour, minute, and second hands sit over a structured circular layout that keeps useful daily information visible without making the screen feel crowded.
1. HANDS
Two hand tyles are available:
* Stable Bar
* Arrow
The second hand remains available during normal active use, while the dedicated low-power layout keeps the essential analog structure visible with reduced activity.
2. CURVED DATA SECTIONS
The upper dial uses two curved progress areas:
* Steps on the left
* Battery on the right
Steps include current progress and travelled distance.
Battery shows the current percentage together with an estimated remaining-time value.
3. ARC FIELD
The lower-left section can now be configured using the Arc Field selector.
Available data:
* Total KCAL
* Estimated Active KCAL
* Notifications
* Stress
* Body Battery
* VO2 Max
* Recovery Time
Estimated Active KCAL is calculated from the documented daily Total KCAL value and your profile information.
Heart rate and date remain part of the lower dial layout.
4. CONFIGURABLE CENTRE FIELDS
Top Center and Bottom Center can be configured independently.
Available data includes:
* Body Battery
* Training Status
* Weather
* Today Distance
* Weekly Distance
* Floors Climbed
* Floors Descended
* Intensity Today
* Intensity Week
* Stress
* Respiration
* Recovery Time
* Step Goal
* Pulse Ox
* Notifications
* VO2 Max
* Altitude
Either centre field can also be hidden using Not Show.
Top Center defaults to Weather.
Bottom Center defaults to Training Status.
5. TOUCH AND HOLD
Supported Top Center, Bottom Center, and Arc Field data can be opened directly with touch and hold, taking you to the corresponding system glance when available.
The existing centre interaction is also preserved.
Touch and hold the centre, an unsupported field, or a field without an available glance to temporarily hide the hands for three seconds.
6. WEATHER
Weather can be selected for the Top Center and displays:
* Weather icon
* Current temperature
* Condition information
7. COLOR MODES
Choose from nine colour modes:
Champagne Gold
Emerald Noir
Urban Slate
Ivory White
Arctic Blue
Signal Teal
Navy Ice
Meadow Lime
Cobalt Pulse
Miami Sunset
Violet Rush
Racing Red
Electric Lime
Tropical Punch
Solar Orange
Champagne Gold is the default mode.
8. SETTINGS
All N13 Axis settings are available directly from the watch.
Press and hold the Menu button, select Watch Faces, select N13 Axis, then under Apply select Customize.
Available controls include:
* Color Mode
* Hands
* Top Center
* Bottom Center
* Arc Field
* Safe Mode
Temperature, distance, and altitude automatically follow the system settings on your watch.
* Temperature follows C or F
* Distance follows KM or MI
* Altitude follows M or FT
No separate unit configuration is required.
9. LOW-POWER DISPLAY
N13 Axis includes dedicated low-power behaviour designed to preserve the analog identity while reducing unnecessary display and data activity.
10. EFFICIENT BY DESIGN
Activity, weather, and other information are prepared and reused efficiently instead of being repeatedly requested while the face is drawn.
Heart rate updates are controlled during normal active use and are not requested in low-power display or Safe Mode.
Safe Mode provides a minimal recovery display when needed.
N13 Axis combines analog styling, configurable information, direct glance access, curved data presentation, and practical daily information in a focused instrument-inspired design.
What's new
v1.0.8
Expanded the color collection from 9 to 15 modes.
Added Miami Sunset, Violet Rush, Racing Red, Electric Lime, Tropical Punch, and Solar Orange.
Introduced Signal Teal, Cobalt Pulse, and Emerald Noir as redesigned color options.
Improved the visual consistency of the seconds hand and date across all color modes.
Preserved the original Arctic Blue appearance.
All settings remain available directly on the watch.
v1.0.7
Added support for fēnix 9 devices.
v1.0.6
Removed Sleep Score from the Arc Field because it is not available on most supported devices.
Added Recovery Time to the Arc Field with clear states for remaining recovery time, fully recovered, or unavailable data.
v1.0.5
1. Added a new Arc Field selector for the lower-left section. Choose Total KCAL, Estimated Active KCAL, Notifications, Stress, Body Battery, VO2 Max, Sleep Score, or hide the field.
2. Estimated Active KCAL is now clearly identified as an estimate calculated from daily Total KCAL and profile data.
3. Added touch-and-hold shortcuts on supported Top Center, Bottom Center, and Arc Field data to open the matching glance directly.
4. The centre touch-and-hold interaction remains available. Holding the centre, an unsupported field, or a field without an available glance temporarily hides the hands for three seconds.
v1.0.4
Top Center and Bottom Center are now independently configurable.
Choose from Body Battery, Training Status, Weather, Today or Weekly Distance, Floors, Intensity, Stress, Respiration, Recovery Time, Step Goal, Pulse Ox, Notifications, VO2 Max, Date, Altitude, or Not Show.
Top Center now appears before Bottom Center in the watch settings for a more natural setup flow.
Temperature, distance, and altitude automatically follow your watch system settings for C/F, KM/MI, and M/FT. No additional unit configuration is required.
v1.0.3
Unfortunately, I have to remove Vivoactive 5 from the supported devices due to a Garmin software limitation regarding curved text rendering that I was unaware of.
Apologies to all affected, please ask for a refund.
