About
PACE/01 puts the time first. Hours and minutes are drawn in a custom display face at a size you can read mid-stride, with the minutes carrying a black halo so they stay separate from the hours where the two overlap.
Around the edge, a seconds arc fills as the minute runs out and marks the current position with a dot.
Complications sit in fixed positions so nothing reflows as values change:
- Battery percentage
- Current temperature with a condition icon
- Step count with a progress bar against your daily goal
Every complication can be turned off, and the seconds arc with it, if you want a cleaner face.
Six accent colors: Volt Lime, Racing Orange, Electric Blue, Signal Red, Hyper Pink and Ice White.
In 12-hour mode an AM or PM label sits above the hours. In 24-hour mode it is hidden.
Always-on display draws the time as outlines only, drops the seconds and the complications, and shifts by one pixel on a four minute cycle. Measured peak luminance in Garmin's burn-in simulation is 3.39 percent, well inside the 10 percent limit.
Available in English and Portuguese.
What's new
Added a date complication below the hours. It reads DD/MM/YY or MM/DD/YY, whichever you pick in the settings, and it can be turned off like every other complication.
The steps row was rebuilt to make room for it. The shoe icon now sits beside the count instead of above it, and it keeps its distance whatever the step count reads.
Fixed the weather icon, which showed the same generic cloud whatever the conditions were. It now matches what the forecast reports, and it dims when no weather data has arrived yet.
