Titanium - Analog Activity Face
· v1.0.0
About
Titanium is an analog watch face for the fenix 8 family: silver skeleton hands on a black dial, one accent colour, and ten configurable data slots.
THE DIAL
Two progress bars hug the left and right edges, carrying steps this week and active minutes this week. Three data circles sit at 9, 3 and 6 o'clock, each with its own progress ring: steps today, active minutes today and calories. A 24-hour digital block sits under the date, with heart rate and distance either side of the centre, and watch battery and notification count in the gap the bars leave at the bottom.
Readings are an icon and a value. No unit captions, no hour markers, nothing on the dial that isn't telling you something.
TEN SLOTS, NONE FIXED
Every reading is a slot you can point at something else: two bars, three circles, and four text positions on the diagonals and under the date.
Sixteen metrics to choose from: heart rate, steps today, steps this week, active minutes today, active minutes this week, calories, Body Battery, stress, floors, distance, watch battery, temperature, notifications, next sun event, altitude and date. The bars take the nine with a real goal to fill against; circles and fields take all sixteen.
SETTINGS
- Accent colour: thirteen of them, oxblood by default. It fills every progress arc, the channel down the hands and the hub.
- Dial ground: guide rings, quadrant spokes, brushed sunburst, centre wash, or plain black.
- Units: metric, statute, or follow the watch.
- Date format: from the day number alone to the full weekday and month.
- Week starts on: any day of the seven, Sunday by default.
- Calorie goal: Connect IQ has no calorie goal of its own, so this supplies one for the bar to fill against.
Everything is editable on the watch (hold UP, Watch Face, Customize) or from Connect IQ on your phone.
BUILT FOR THE SCREEN IT'S ON
Nothing is pre-rendered. Every coordinate is a fraction of the display, so the face is as sharp on the 260px solar screens as on the 454px AMOLED ones, and the bitmap type is cut to match each display exactly.
The weekly totals are counted from your own start day using the watch's daily history, so they follow the week you keep rather than a fixed one.
When the screen sleeps, the face drops to a dim outline and shifts on a jitter cycle, so it is safe to leave on an AMOLED display all day.
