Trail Weather is a powerful weather app. Unlike traditional apps that rely on a single data source, Trail Weather combines forecasts from multiple providers into one ensemble prediction. By averaging across services and displaying a probability band, it helps you judge forecast reliability at a glance. Whether you’re hiking, running, or cycling, Trail Weather equips you with more dependable weather insights outdoors.
Key Features
Ensemble Forecasting: Merges forecasts from several providers to calculate mean values, smoothing inconsistencies.
Probability Band: Shows a confidence range around temperature and precipitation forecasts.
Multiple Providers Supported:
MetNorway (no key required)
Open-Meteo (no key required)
OpenWeather (requires free API key)
