About

Wouldn't you like to know how long your heart rate (HR) is in the different HR Zones during the day? Physio 3 WF allows this, in two ways: ● A bar of 5 cells, corresponding to the 5 HR Zones (above the time display). The heart rate appears in one of the standard Zone colors: gray, blue, green, orange and red. In 'high power mode' it is updated every second, in 'low power mode' it is updated at a configurable rate (max. every 5 secs). ● A chart which shows the % of time the heart rate is in each of the Zones during the day (below the time display). The chart is a bar chart, the x axis of which shows 6 ticks. On the two ends of the x axis these ticks correspond to the lower limit of the 1st Zone and to the upper limit of the 5th Zone (the max. HR). The remaining 4 ticks separate the Zones from each other. The chart is updated at every full minute, based on the HR values of the previous minute. Chart values are reset at midnight. HR data collection starts either at midnight or at wake time. Thus, the maximal amount of HR % data in the chart is for 24 hours. The HR value collection can also be restarted manually, either by 'double gesture' (turning the wrist twice quickly) or by 'exit-and-back' (exiting the watch face and quickly coming back again), or by both. The minimum speed for these is configurable. A restart means that the chart values are reset, i.e. previous % data is erased. NOTE: HR values are collected while Physio 3 WF is in the foreground. If you switch to a different watchface or app, HR value collection stops. Additional features: ● UPPER LEFT CORNER One of the below two features: * Oxygen Saturation (SpO2 / Pulse Ox). Selecting this option works only on watches with Pulse Ox available and programmatically accessible. This link shows Garmin watches with SpO2 available and accessible: https://avoimasoftware.com/2021/02/27/spo2-enabled-garmin-watches/ * Daily distance covered (in km or miles, depending on watch Settings). ● UPPER CENTER Calories. 'Resting' and 'Active' burning of calories for the current day. Note: for the Calories calculation to work, the user has to add gender, age, height and weight to his/her User Profile. ● UPPER RIGHT CORNER Heart rate (HR). ● TIME DISPLAY * 12 or 24 hour display. * Leading 0 * Seconds display ● LEFT OF THE TIME DISPLAY Notifications or Alerts indicator ● RIGHT OF THE TIME DISPLAY Phone connectivity indicator: appears if the Bluetooth connection to the phone is available and disappears if the connection is broken. ● ON THE SIDES 'Arc' displays of data values, together with their corresponding targets or goals. The target is represented by a gray arc frame. The data value is represented by an arc having the current 'theme color'. * Daily count of steps. Target is set on the Garmin Connect phone app. * Daily count of floors climbed. Target is set on the Garmin Connect phone app. ● COLORS 17 colors can be used to set 4 aspects of the watch display. ----------------- TROUBLE SHOOTING In case of problems saving Settings (e.g. the Activation key) on the phone, check your Bluetooth connection, restart the phone, and try again. Otherwise, save Settings with Garmin Express, a PC app: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/software/express/windows/ ----------------- TRIAL PERIOD AND PAYMENT The user can try out Physio 3 WF for 2 hours. During this time it is fully functional. To use it beyond that time, the user must enter the Activation key in the Settings. The Activation key is sent by email, immediately upon payment of 1.49 US$ into Avoima Software's PayPal account, here: https://avoimasoftware.com/payment-for-physio-3-wf/ ----------------- ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS ● The active Calories calculation uses equations created by the developers markdotai and topcaser. ● The 24/12-hours formatting uses code from PixelPathos' Crystal watch face
