A widget that calculates and shows the USAQI (Air Quality Index) by pulling data from the PurpleAir API. https://www.purpleair.com/map REQUIRED SETUP: You must obtain, configure, and add your own (Free!) Enter your API key into the USAQI widget settings in your phone Frequently Asked Questions: * Can I force refresh the AQI information? Yes. Scroll through the widget views until you get to the Debug view (the one that shows your last GPS coordinates) and press the Select button (usually the one on the top-right). * Can you add support for my Garmin device? Yes. Use the Contact Developer link to let me know what device you'd like me to add support for. * Why do I see an error about an invalid API key? This is likely because your didn't enter your PurpleAir API key into the widget settings on your phone. Double check the key. * Why do I see an error about BLE Connection Unavailable? Your device isn't able to connect to your phone to access the PurpleAir API. Try syncing your device to your phone and trying again. * Why do I see an error about Payment Required? This is because you didn't setup your PurpleAir API key correctly. You must assign your API key to a project to utilize your points. * Why do I see an error about not getting Sensor Data from the API? This might be because there aren't any PurpleAir sensors near you. You might be able to increase the sampling distance in the app Settings (default: 15km) to find sensors that are farther away. * Can I extend the time that AQI results are cached on my device? Yes, this is a configurable timeframe in the app settings on your phone. Set the number of minutes you want to cache the results - up to 1 month! * Can I disable the vibration notification? Yes, go into the app settings on your phone and toggle the switch for the vibration setting. Information about Personal Data Handling: This widget will use your device's GPS location information to identify an area around you from which to query information from nearby PurpleAir sensors. The coordinates are only sent to the PurpleAir and not collected by or shared to any other parties. For more information, see PurpleAir's privacy policy. Note: The AQI calculation is based on the United State's Environmental Protection Agency's calculations. These may not be the same as your country's AQI calculations.
