LiveTracker Datafield

**Let your friends know, where you are while biking, running, hiking, paragliding, etc.!** This app uses the energy efficient GPS of your GARMIN device for livetracking. Location data ist sent via BLE and your mobile phone to a private server of your own choice (for example OwnTracks Recorder: https://github.com/owntracks/recorder | OwnTracks Integration for Home Assistant: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/owntracks/ | php-tracks-recorder: https://github.com/tomyvi/php-tracks-recorder). Please be aware: To use this app, you need your own backend (aka tracking server)!! The 5 minutes update interval is caused by a restriction for datafields to make only every 5 minutes a webrequest to save battery power. The Owntracks-JSON-payload with location information is posted via HTTPS. This is an alternative to the official Garmin Livetrack service. Your track data is stored on your private server and track data does not vanish after 24h. Server response feedback: LiveTracker :-) - Green text and happy smiley: The last attempt to send location data was successful. LiveTracker :-( - Red text and sad smiley: The last attempt to send location data to the server was unsuccessful. (For example, caused by: no mobile network, Bluetooth not connected, server not responding, wrong server URL, server misconfiguration,...) Alternating with the text described above, the time of the last successful position update is displayed every 5 seconds (‘Never’ is displayed if no position has ever been successfully sent to the server). The datafield has been tested on the Enduro 3, Epix 2, Fenix 6x/7X, Instinct 2 and on the Vivoactive HR.
