Portfolio Tracker - Garmin Watch App Disclaimer: I built this as a fellow finance bro just wanted to track my portfolio from my watch. Monitor your Trading 212 investment portfolio directly from your Garmin watch with real-time data and performance metrics. Features: - View total portfolio value at a glance - Track profit/loss (P&L) with percentage change - Monitor free cash and invested amount - See individual position details (up to 10 holdings) - Color-coded P&L indicators (green for gains, red for losses) - Smart caching to reduce API calls and preserve battery - Support for both demo and live Trading 212 accounts - Multi-currency support with automatic symbol detection How to Use: 1. Initial Setup: - Open the Garmin Connect IQ app on your phone - Navigate to Device then My Device Apps "Portfolio Tracker" in your widget list - Enter your Trading 212 API Key and API Secret (found in your Trading 212 account settings) - You need to select Permissions for Account Data, History and Portfolio IMPORTANT: The trading 212 app api doesnt give you the secrect you must login to the web version of trading 212 to access it. - Choose whether to use Demo or Live account - Save settings 2. Viewing Your Portfolio: - Add Portfolio Tracker to your glance loop or widgets - Open the app to see your portfolio summary - The main view displays: - Total portfolio value at the top - P&L amount and percentage (color-coded) - Free cash available - Total invested amount - List of your positions with current prices and individual P&L 3. Navigation: - SELECT button or TAP: Manually refresh data - Hold SELECT: opens settings menu - UP/DOWN buttons or SWIPE: Scroll through positions - Glance View: Quick summary showing total value and P&L 4. Data Updates: - Data is cached for 60 seconds to save battery - Manual refresh available via SELECT button - Rate limited to one request every 30 seconds - Automatically fetches fresh data when cache expires Requirements: - Active Trading 212 account with API access - Garmin watch with Connect IQ support (Fenix, Forerunner, Epix, etc.) - Internet connectivity via phone Privacy & Performance: - All API calls are made directly to Trading 212 - No third-party servers involved - Credentials stored securely on your device - Minimal battery impact with smart caching Disclaimer: This app is an independent project created by a third-party developer.
