About
10,000 steps a day are healthy... and earn cash at the same time!
With myStep, CSS Insurance – a leading health insurer in Switzerland – has launched an online offering in the field of health prophylaxis, aimed at meeting the growing need among customers for digital self-tracking. myStep participants who clock up 10,000 steps per day improve their health and are rewarded with credits.
How does myStep work?
The data on the steps clocked up every day are transmitted from Connect IQ to myStep and depicted in myCSS – the CSS personal customer login portal. For each day on which at least 10,000 steps are logged, the myStep participant gets a credit. The credits thus collected are paid out at regular intervals.
What do I need to participate in myStep?
myStep is free of charge for all participants. The prerequisite for entitlement to participation in myStep is a supplementary insurance policy with CSS and a personal account in the myCSS customer login portal. Additional information about myStep, myCSS and the credits can be found at: www.css.ch/mystep.
The CSS myStep Watchface functions
The CSS myStep Watchface provides the following functions:
• Progress bar for achieving the daily target
• Display of the steps logged during the current day
• Display of the credits earned since the beginning of the year, shown in Swiss francs
• Time and date
Keeping an eye on your daily progress with the CSS myStep Watchface
The "CSS Crystal" is comprised of five segments. These are grey at the start of the day. After 2,000 steps, the first segment appears in blue. After each additional 2,000 steps a further segment lights up in blue. Once the entire "CSS Crystal" shines in blue, the daily target has been reached.
Track the annual credit entitlement with CSS myStep
The credits display adds up all credits gained since the beginning of the year. If the myStep account or step counter is set up in the course of the current year, this figure will show the credits accumulated from that date onwards.
