Vinyl - A record deck on your wrist
· v1.0
About
Vinyl turns the watch face into a turntable. The hour and minute hands are tonearm headshells tracking across the record, and the record itself is the background — grooves, label, spindle and all.
Eleven pressings. Classic Black, White, Blue, Deep Red, Orange, Deep Teal, Pink and Transparent, plus three marbled pressings with their own sleeve art: Jazz, Reggae and Breaks. Pick one and the whole face changes with it.
Two tonearms. Charcoal or cream. Cream reads better against the dark and marbled pressings; charcoal suits the pale ones.
Two data fields, readable at a glance. Put heart rate, steps, calories, battery or intensity minutes at seven and five o'clock. Each sits on its own puck with a progress ring around it, so you get the number and how far through the goal you are in the same look. Fields can be switched to light-on-dark or dark-on-light independently of the pressing you choose, so contrast is always your call.
Date on the A-side. A date pill at the top of the record, on or off.
