About
The exercises you already do, run by your watch - and a streak that shows whether you are keeping them up.
Everybody has a short list of exercises they are supposed to do every day. Mobility work, stretching, core, single-leg balance, band work, the warm-up before the workout. Almost nobody does them consistently, and it is never because the exercises are hard. It is because a list on a scrap of paper is easy to ignore, and counting a 30-second hold in your head while watching a clock is miserable.
Routine puts your list on your wrist and keeps score.
Build it on the watch:
- Up to 8 exercises, 1 to 5 sets each
- Each one is either a HOLD, where the watch times it and buzzes when you can let go, or REPS, where you press when the set is done
- Holds from 5 seconds to 2 minutes, reps from 1 to 30
- Rest between sets, timed automatically, or none at all
- Pick from a 20-exercise library - plank, side plank, glute bridge, bird dog, dead bug, calf raise, squat, lunge, step up, row, wall slide, hamstring, balance, stretch and more - or type your own names in Garmin Connect
While you work:
- Big countdown for holds, with a warning buzz before the end so you can breathe through the last seconds
- Two taps to start a set, one long buzz for rest, three at the finish
- Set counter, so you always know where you are
- A second screen (UP/DOWN) with the time of day, total time, hold time, sets and heart rate
- Skip a phase early whenever you need to
The part that matters is your streak. The start screen leads with it: consecutive days, total sessions, and whether you have already done today's. Doing a routine once is easy. Doing it ninety days running is the whole point, and this is the only number that tracks it.
Saves to Garmin Connect as a training activity with a lap for every set and rest, plus Hold Time and Sets Completed in the summary.
Routine does not prescribe anything and does not tell you what to do. You bring the list; it keeps the time and the count.

What's new
Fix: if the watch closed the app part-way through a session, the recording could be lost. It is now saved automatically - and since the activity is recorded, it counts toward your streak.
A second screen: press UP or DOWN mid-session for a data page with the time of day in large digits, plus total time, hold time, sets completed, heart rate and battery. Two dots at the bottom show which page you are on.
Saving now closes the app for you. The result stays up for a moment, then the app exits and hands your watch back.
