What's new
Bug fixes.
Water no longer presses the button for you on the start screen. A wet screen
could turn a droplet into a BACK press there, and BACK on that screen discards
an unfinished session and closes the app. The guard that already protected the
session screen now protects this one too.
The heart-rate warning covers the cold plunge. It was only watching the sauna,
which is the one phase where the pulse is expected to be high anyway.
Round numbers are correct after a failed save. A session resumed after a save
that did not complete could show a round under a number already used by an
earlier round, and carry that number into Garmin Connect.
"Best Max" on the heart-rate screen could show a lower number than the round
listed directly above it, and showed 0 before any data instead of a dash.
The session no longer stays paused after you answer "no" to "Save session?" —
it used to return to a screen that looked live with a stopped clock. There is
also a clear PAUSED indicator now, so a stopped timer can never be mistaken for
a running one.
If the watch cannot start a recording, the app says so and offers a retry
instead of failing quietly. If it cannot save one, the session is kept and the
next launch tells you, rather than only offering to resume with no explanation.
The completion buzz now sounds only when an activity has actually been written,
not when a session is discarded or a save fails.
An interrupted session can no longer leave the app unable to open, lose its
recovery measurement, be counted twice, or leave a recording open in the
background that prevents new sessions from starting.
The session pulse graph keeps a constant time scale in long sessions, and the
temperature reading on the body screen no longer risks an error on some
watches.
Settings changes now take effect without restarting the app.
