Planetarium turns your compatible Garmin watch into a pocket planetarium. Simply raise your wrist and point it at the night sky — using your watch's GPS position, compass, and tilt sensors, the app calculates exactly which stars and constellations lie in that direction right now, and draws their outlines directly on screen. **Features** - Real star positions: all 88 IAU constellations (767 stars, 743 connecting lines), positioned live from your GPS location and the current time — not a static image. - Point-and-track: a tilt-compensated compass and accelerometer continuously track where your wrist is aimed, so the sky view scrolls naturally as you move your arm. - Center-lock haptics: a short vibration lets you know the moment a new constellation lines up with your aiming reticle, so you don't have to stare at the screen the whole time. - Constellation list & search: browse all 88 constellations by name, with the ones currently in view highlighted. - Compass calibration: a guided figure-eight calibration screen with live progress and hard-iron correction for more accurate headings. - Night red mode: switch to a low-light red palette for stargazing without ruining your night vision, or use the blue palette for daytime use. - True-north / magnetic-north display toggle. - Graceful degraded mode: if GPS or sensor signal is temporarily lost, the last known sky view keeps showing (dimmed, with a status banner) instead of going blank. - Fully on-device: no internet connection or phone pairing required — all astronomical calculations run locally on the watch. - English and Japanese interface, following your device's language setting. **Notes** - Compatible with most Garmin watches that have both GPS and a compass (magnetometer) — including fēnix, epix, Enduro, Descent, MARQ, D2, Venu, Approach (S50/S60/S62/S70), Instinct, vívoactive, and Forerunner (165 and up) models. Watches without a built-in compass aren't supported, since the core "point at the sky" feature depends on it. - Works on both touchscreen and button-only watches. On button-only models, use the up/down buttons to scroll the constellation list and license screen. - Requires GPS and access to the device's accelerometer/magnetometer to determine your position and where your wrist is pointing. - Constellation line data is derived from the d3-celestial project (BSD-3-Clause). Full attribution is included in the app's in-app "License" screen.
