Meridian

Meridian is a minimalist, data-dense watch face built for people who split their time across time zones and want the sky, not just the clock, at a glance. TIME & DATE Large primary time in your device's 12/24-hour format, with the date beneath it. SECOND TIME ZONE A configurable second time zone (defaults to Melbourne, AEST/AEDT) shown as a compact two-line label and time, with automatic daylight-saving adjustments for US/Canada, Europe, or Australia/NZ DST rules. Set it once in the watch face settings and it stays correct year-round. SUNRISE, SUNSET & DAY LENGTH A gradient arc across the top of the face shows your local day and night in proportion, using your device's already-synced weather data: deep indigo night fades through coral twilight into gold daylight, with an exact tick mark at the true sunrise and sunset moments and a moving dot marking "now." Sunrise and sunset times are shown as labels below the arc. WEATHER Current temperature and dew point, with the temperature number itself tinted cooler or warmer depending on how it actually feels outside. An "Expect:" advisory with rain, snow, or wind icons appears whenever the forecast calls for one later today. STEP GOAL Your step count and goal as a simple "1,234 / 10,000" readout, with a progress ring along the bottom of the face. BATTERY A percentage and fill-icon, color-coded from calm green down to urgent red as it runs low. CUSTOMIZATION - Second time zone label, UTC offset, and DST rule - Accent color for the step-goal ring (blue, green, orange, or white) REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS Meridian reads weather, sunrise/sunset, and location data from your watch's own synced weather cache. It does not use GPS directly and makes no network requests of its own. Temperature, dew point, and the sunrise/sunset arc will be blank until your watch has synced weather at least once via the Garmin Connect app. Currently supports Forerunner 265 and Forerunner 265S.
