Cue Adjusted Distance Field
· v0.04-upd1
About
A data field that displays the total elapsed distance of a ride but adjusted by an offset settable through a Garmin Connect Setting. This is useful when navigating by cue sheets and your actual elapsed distance has deviated from the distances on the cue sheets (cumulative error, you... uh... made a wrong turn..., cue sheet errors, etc).
To use the field get yourself to a known distance on the cue sheets. Do the mental math once at that point to figure out the offset between the cue sheet distance and your elapsed distance. Then open Garmin Connect on your phone, go to the Cue Adjusted Distance Field under Connect IQ, go to settings, and set Cue Offset to the number you just calculated.
Once done you now no longer have to do the mental math for EVERY cue entry, just look at the Cue Distance data field. Until you make the next wrong turn and have to adjust again...
