EdgeZone App (Fully Customizable)

The EdgeZone App is the companion to the EdgeZone Watch Face providing more features, continuous updates when that is important. Many thanks to those who have already donated. The purpose is not to get rich, but rather to gauge the level of interest and also help buy a beer after a long days work. The app contains all the features of the Watch Face along with the following additional features: Auto GPS Sync: When the App is first started, it will attempt to connect to a GPS signal to sync up the watch time with the GPS. This is done each time the app is started. After a successful sync, the watch will vibrate to let you know your watch is now in sync with the GPS signal. Use this feature when travelling to quickly sync with the local time zone. Continuous Updates: The EdgeZone App will update continuously updating the time and panels with information. This will consume more power than the companion Edge Zone Watch Face, and is meant for those times when continuous information is more important than saving power. Even while running in this mode you should be able to get more than a days’ worth of power before needing to recharge your watch. Sunrise/Sunset/Day Length: After the GPS sync, the time zone panel will also display the values for Sunrise, Sunset and computed Day Length. Seconds Tick: Some guy at work shows his latest Apple watch and boasted how it even makes a ticking sound. I thought, well the Garmin Fenix 3 can do anything the Apple watch can do, even better. So this version has an option to include a seconds ticking sound. Hourly Vibrate: If you need to be reminded on the hour, the EdgeZone app now included an option to vibrate on the hour.
