About

GARMIN WARNING: This data field is intended only as an in-flight aid and should not be used as a primary information source. The data field uses barometric altimeter data from the watch/device and it will not function properly in a pressurized environment and should not be used in a pressurized aircraft. The Flight Instruments data field is based *heavily* on the main (Instruments) page of Garmin's built-in Fly app (for the D2™ watch series) and was designed to be what the built-in 'Instruments' page should have been, using the proper aviation units. Although you cannot remove or replace the 'Instruments' screen of the Fly app, this data field is designed to be used instead of it. The data field ignores the watch settings and displays the information in the units that pilots expect: altitude in feet, speed in knots (or mph) and vertical speed in feet per minute. The data field can be configured to use knots or mph (similar to the built-in screen) and the vertical speed display can be configured to round to the nearest 25, 50 or 100 feet. NOTE: Please do not leave suggestions, requests or bug reports in the reviews. Instead, please use the "Contact Developer" button above; I will endeavour to reply to everyone. Or alternatively, post a comment in the forums here: *** IMPORTANT: This data field should be used for informational purposes only, and should not be replied on as a primary means of flying/navigating an airplane. What's new

This data field is now deprecated (except for D2 devices) and has been replaced by an activity app called "Flying", available here: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/56d3d6be-b0cf-401f-8eed-77e64d55057e
