About

Three time zones at a glance, without opening anything. World Clock shows your local time at the top — taken from the watch's location, not the time zone set in the system — with the date and UTC offset below it. At the bottom, up to three cities of your choice, each with its flag, its time and the day's low and high. If a city falls on a different day, a + or a − next to the time tells you. In the middle, a band with the weather where you are: condition icon, temperature, feels-like, low and high, and chance of rain. PICK YOUR CITIES 246 cities ready to choose from a list, or type the name of any other one and it will find it. Each city can have its own colour and its own three-letter label, and you can show two or three at a time. TIMES DON'T DEPEND ON YOUR PHONE The watch stores each city's UTC offset, so all three times keep running even with Bluetooth off. Only the weather goes stale, and when it does you get a mark on the icon instead of an old reading shown as if it were fresh. Daylight saving is resolved on the server, so there is no time zone table to go out of date and no city left an hour behind in March. COMPLICATIONS Three configurable slots at the bottom, each one your choice: steps, heart rate, battery, calories, floors climbed, distance or notifications. With its colour icon. BACKGROUNDS Eleven backgrounds to choose from — night cityscapes and abstracts — on watches with enough graphics memory. Each one is aligned so the image meets the weather band cleanly, with no leftover black strip. SETTINGS ON THE WATCH Background, weather icons, clock size, the three complications, the dividere, show flags, 24-hour format and battery saver can all be changed from thewatch, without reaching for your phone. Cities are chosen in Garmin Connect, where the search field lives. BUILT FOR BATTERY Weather refreshes every 30 minutes with a single request, not one per city. If the watch has been still for hours it skips the request entirely; with battery saver on and a low charge it spaces requests to two hours. If there is no connection when the waste the attempt — it retries five minutes later. IF SOMETHING DOESN'T WORK, EMAIL ME BEFORE RATING I answer fast: [email protected] A one-star rating doesn't tell me which watch you have or what went wrong, ix it. An email does — most problems are solved the same day. Just tell meyour watch model and what you expected to see. If the watch face is useful to you and you'd like to help: buymeacoffee.com/GRapps

What's new

v1.0.6 Exchange rates are now color-coded by age: green for the first 8 hours, yellow up to 16, and red until the next day's rate is published. The reference updates once a day, so the color tells you at a glance whether you're looking at a fresh figure or one about to be replaced. New rates now reach the watch faster — within 1 hour of publication instead of up to 6. v1.0.5 Currency exchange rates. Under each city you can now show what its currency is worth in yours, instead of the weather. Turn it on per city under "Bottom row" — there is nothing else to set up: each city's currency comes from its country, and yours from the country you are in. If you would rather pin it, so it doesn't change while travelling, type it under "Your currency". Daily reference rate. Not shown on smaller screens, where that row doesn't fit. v1.0.4 The main time now follows your watch's time zone — the one your phone syncs. It used to come from the GPS location, which meant it stayed stuck on your home country while travelling: a watch face can't turn the GPS receiver on, so the location only refreshed when you started an activity. It now changes on its own when you land. Also, when the stored location is in a different time zone, the weather is flagged as stale instead of showing another country's temperature. v1.0.3 Language fixes. · The date now follows your watch's language. It used to be Spanish always, even with the watch set to English. · So do the settings menu and the city list: English by default, Spanish on watches set to Spanish. · "FL" (feels like) is translated along with the rest. · Temperature shows in °C or °F and distance in km or miles, following your watch settings. They used to be always °C and km. Thanks to Andrew R. for being the first to report it. If something looks wrong, email me at [email protected] before rating. v.1.0.1 First release. · Your local time on top, with date and UTC offset. · Up to three cities below, with flag, time and low/high. A +1 or −1 mark when the city is on a different day. · Weather in the centre band: temperature, feels-like, low/high and chance of rain. · 246 cities to choose from, or search any other by name. The search tolerates typos. · Three configurable complications: steps, heart rate, battery, calories, floors, distance or notifications. · Eleven backgrounds and settings you can change from the watch. · All three times keep working without Bluetooth.
