A beautifully crafted Garmin Connect IQ watch face featuring the Portuguese flag waving gently behind large, readable time. The flag is drawn procedurally with polygons (not a bitmap) for an efficient, smooth 3D cloth ripple animation while the watch is awake. It uses almost no memory and adapts to any screen resolution. The national coat of arms (armillary sphere over the shield) rides the wave, centered on the dividing line between the green hoist band (2:3 ratio) and red fly band. Heraldic details are simplified for clarity at watch size. Looks rich and vibrant on AMOLED displays and quantizes correctly on 64-color MIP displays. Includes always-on support on AMOLED devices: burn-in safe low-power mode with dimmed time/date and a small flag glyph that jitters every minute. Large outlined time digits use dark halos for excellent legibility over the busy flag. Shows date plus a stats row with heart rate, steps, and battery with charge level. Fully offline. No settings required. No permissions beyond standard sensors. No user-visible text besides numbers, so it works for any locale.
