About
The time spelled out. No digits at all.
Words take longer to read than numerals, which is the opposite of what a watch face usually optimises for and exactly the point - it feels unhurried because you cannot skim it.
Two wordings. Exact reads TEN FORTY-TWO; rounded reads TWENTY TO ELEVEN, to the nearest five, the way people actually say it.
The minute carries the accent. There are eight to pick from, each tuned twice - once for the off-white theme and once for true black.
What you can change:
- Theme: off-white or true black
- Accent: eight colours for the minute words
- Wording: exact, or rounded to the nearest five
- Date: eight formats, from WED 12 AUG through AUGUST 12 and WEDNESDAY to no date at all
- Two data fields, above and below: steps, heart rate, Body Battery, stress, calories, watch battery, or nothing
Settings are available in Garmin Connect and on the watch itself, from the watch face's own settings menu.
Always-on is supported. The face dims and shifts slowly in that state to protect the display.
A field shows a dash where the watch does not report that metric. Body Battery and stress are not available on every model.
