Filtered Heart Rate
· v3.1.1
About
This datafield will display your filtered heart rate. The heart rate displayed will be representative of your heart rate over the previous 5 minutes (default) or any time you choose in the settings. This is useful to compare your recent effort, as an average heart rate can be very sluggish to move at the end of an activity . Lap heart rate is not as ideal as well, as when the lap resets, the lap average instantly changes to your current heart rate. Similar to a rolling average or moving average. Also available for filtered power.

-Heart rate displayed before filter time reached changed to display average heartrate. Previously the filter was applied from the first heart rate reading which could be misleading before the filter time was reached.
-New setting to blink the heart rate if the filter time has not been reached (ie, when showing the average heart rate)
-Added ability to accomodate short durations of heart rate sensor drop outs before reseting the filter.

-Added settings for the user to change the filter time. This can be done in the connect IQ app under settings or garmin Express. Note the data field will only update on the device once the data field is reloaded by selecting it again or restarting/re-entering the activity. Device restart may be required on edge models.
