A: All customization is done in the Garmin Connect IQ app on your phone. Select your device, find "Apex Stride" in your list of watch faces, and tap on "Settings." Q: Doesn't an animation drain the battery very quickly? A: There's slightly more drain on the battery, but not drastically more. If you want to prolong the battery life, you can always select the static images and turn back to the animation when you want to impress your friends and acquaintances! Q: What about privacy? A: This Connect IQ app does not collect, store, or share any personal data. All information shown (such as time, steps, heart rate, VO2 Max, weekly run distance or weather data etc.) comes directly from your Garmin device or Garmin services and remains on the device. No data is transmitted to the developer or to third parties. Payments are handled securely through Garmin’s Connect IQ Store. The developer does not receive or process any payment information.
