MPA Tides

Provides Today's High and Low Tides from NOAA tide stations. The widget defaults to Station ID: 8452660 (Newport, RI). To set your station: 1) Go to https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/map/ or https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/tide_predictions.html 2) Find the tide station you would like to use and enter the Station ID into the widget settings in Garmin Connect IQ 3) Save your station setting 4) Sync your watch To scroll thru dates: 1) Press the ACTIVITY button until the date turns green (the length of the press will vary between models) 2) Press the UP button to move the date forward or Press the DOWN button to move the date back 3) To close date mode and reset the date to today Press the BACK button Notes: If you receive the message "Station XXXXXX not found." ensure you typed the Station ID correctly and that your watch is properly synced with your phone. If you receive the message "Station XXXXXX has no tide data." please go to the above URL and select another station that has tide data available. The time of the tide is Local to the Station.
