Battery Days

Shows estimated battery time remaining in days, hours, or "Low" - for watches without the native batteryInDays display.

Battery Days estimates how much time you have before your watch needs a recharge, and shows it in plain language: • "5 days" — when more than a day remains • "8 hours" — when less than a day but more than 5 hours • "Low" — when fewer than 5 hours remain • "Charging 60%" — while on the cradle How it works: • On devices that expose batteryInDays natively (Epix Pro Gen 2), the value comes straight from the system. • On older Forerunners (245, 245 Music, 645 Music), the app samples battery percentage over time and computes a discharge rate. After about 6 hours of use, you'll see an accurate estimate. Battery friendly: • No background services. • No network access. • No location, heart rate, or other sensor permissions. • Sample buffer kept under 300 bytes in Application Storage. • View refreshes once per minute when open.
