Shimano step E8000 data fields

This apps connects to your Shimano(r) Step E8000 powered e-bike and displays useful information while on the run. Cadence, battery level, mode and assistance values are recorded and stored into your Garmin profile for further graphical analysis. Please note that the SC-E8000 display computer seems to not broadcast ANT frames. The application has been tested functional with the SC-E7000 display computer. It is also reported to work with the EW-EN100 controller. Enjoy !

Feel free to report if it is not working with the latest firmwares (post 21) It has been reported that the App work with the new EP8 motor from Shimano, except for the battery level (reported unstable). I currently do not own this thing (but I am working on it :D) I will post a new release when I would be able to improve support. The App does not work wih the Edge 530 and 1030 because of a bug in the computers that prevents Ant communication between the bike and the computer. A case has been opened at Garmin. In the meantime, I will remove support for Edge 530 and Edge 1030. Fenix 6 display optimization (better field distribution). Added support for bike serial number pairing. The bike serial number is stored in the App when first connected. Subsequent connections will be allowed only to stored bike serial. The serial number is display at the bottom of the display. If the custom field hangs after update, just set the serial number to 0 in the Connect App. Bike serial number can be reset to 0 in the App for allowing connection to another bike.
