About

This data field displays the rider's W' balance. A power meter is required to use this data field. Real-time health (W'Balance) values are recorded in the Garmin log file. I changed the calculation method using float values. Therefore, the W′ balance graph is smoother than other apps. There is an option to estimate the real-time CP, W'. If you do not know CP and W', turn on the option and measure before using. However, it can use a lot of memory and consume lots of battery, so turn off the option if possible. (This option is not available for Edge 520, Edge 130, and Edge130plus due to lack of memory. Edge520plus will be modified so that it can be used.) Measurements are calculated using 3-5minute power data and 15-20minute power data for lowest memory usage. (Since short-term measurement data may differ from actual CP and FTP, it is recommended to use data such as Golden Cheetah, Riduck, and Intervals. data) W' (W prime or AWC, anaerobic work capacity): This is called riding fitness. J or kJ module http://physfarm.com/new/?page_id=563 CP (Critical Power): Cycling ability. FTP is a slightly different concept, and it is generally a slightly larger value than FTP. http://physfarm.com/new/?page_id=511 W' (W prime) refers to the rider's physical fitness. Refer to the Riduck(https://riduck.com) AWC value and enter it in J units. CP : Enter the CP value or Riduck FTP value in W. You can use other kinetic analysis tools. When using the Health Time Display option, when using power over CP, the estimated time of health exhaustion is When using power below CP, the estimated time to recover from health is displayed. Additional selection options can be used to display anaerobic exercise data. MATCH : It is described as burning a matchstick with 120% of CP energy consumed for 1 minute. In this app, the number of matchsticks was calculated by adding up the health consumed by power exceeding CP and dividing it by a value equivalent to 120% CP 1 minute. https://www.trainingpeaks.com/blog/what-is-a-match/ TAAE : anaerobic duration. The total time spent exercising with a force of CP or higher. WAAE : Anaerobic momentum (kJ). Total energy exercised with a force above CP. Max AAE W' : Anaerobic maximum discharge (%). Maximum discharge rate during exercise with a force above CP. Each data has some variation due to differences in calculation from other tools. You can change the settings with the Garmin Express or GarminConnect IQ apps.

What's new

v1.3.0 Changed black background color of Edge 1050 v1.2.9 Remove some codes v1.2.8 Added Edge1050 v1.2.7 reuse estimation values v1.2.6 W', CP, etc. suspend some estimation calculations. (Determining the cause of the error) v1.2.5 Fix errors v1.2.4 Fix initialization error. Support for Edge540, Edge840 v1.2.3 Fix errors v1.2.0 SDK 4.2.2. Adjust variable settings v1.1.9 SDK 4.2.1 v1.1.8 Fixed some variable errors v1.1.7 Improved visibility of slow font color in night mode v1.1.6 Fix error during operation v1.1.5 Improved night mode low-power base color visibility v1.1.6 Fixed errors during operation v1.1.5 Bug fixed v1.1.4 CP, W' automatic update option added (models such as Edge 130 and Edge520 cannot be used due to insufficient memory) v1.1.0 3~5 minutes max power auto renewal option added (high battery consumption) v1.0.9 TTR Calculus Fix v1.0.8 Specify default value when entering value of CP, W' 0 (CP=200, W'=20,000) v1.0.6 Fixed the same storage of Garmin data according to the display method. % or kJ v1.0.5 Fine-tuning font size and position v1.0.4 Modify to estimate CP and W' by entering long/short term maximum exercise results (3~5 minutes, 15~60 minutes) Added TTE:Time to Exhaust, TTR:Time to Recovery display (TTE display when using power over CP, TTR display when using power below CP) v1.0.1 Matchstick counting calculation method modified The number of matchsticks is obtained by using the energy corresponding to 120% CP as match 1 and dividing the energy at the power exercised above CP by the value. Matches += Power / (1.2 * CP) / 60 seconds (only when power is greater than CP) (Previously, the number of matches was excessive because the energy exceeding CP was calculated by comparing) Existing matches += (Power - CP) / (0.2 * CP) / 60 seconds
