Keep track of your server status and response time. Response times are approximate as they must route from the BLE connection on the watch to the phone and back. Get a notification on your watch when your server goes down! Configurable check interval and notification on/off. Configure from the app settings in your ConnectIQ app on the phone. For best results, set up a dedicated lightweight endpoint on your server that returns a simple 200 OK response quickly, such as a static HTML page or a lightweight API endpoint. Open the fullscreen view for a more detailed status, including a history graph of recent checks. Press on the graph or press the start button to force an immediate check. I found myself checking my server too often so I figured a watch app would solve that. I can have peace of mind with a quick glance, and now you can too!
