About

For those that need to see your heart rate .. and zone information. It will also accept an Ant+ HR strap if desired. Note .. HR Always is an Application. You need to press the right button to see it after you install it. Upon installation .. it is likely going to be at the bottom of your applications. You can move it if you so desire using Manage Apps on the Vivoactive HR or rearrange using Garmin Connect Mobile. If you are on the couch .. Zone 0. I know .. I made it up. Otherwise, the usual Zones 1 to 5. But .. wait for the 'Green Bar'. That is your signal to go. You get to see your HR data continuously .. you can let it run for as long as you like. Your battery may not love you as that green light will go on, so you get a battery gauge too. HR Always does not do a FIT file ... just basic HR data and a zone summary at the end. No funny stuff .. no GPS, just what all the heart rate lovers will crave. Feel free to leave me a review as I can now reply to them. Thank you Garmin. But if you have questions please use the Contact Developer link on the right or use the HR Always thread. HR Always has been tested with VivoactiveHR firmware 2.60, 2.65 beta, 2.71 beta, 2.74 beta, 2.80, 2.90, 3.30 .. to 4.00 For suggestions or anything else .. check out the HR Always thread below. https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?357781-Application-HR-Always If your Vivoactive HR drops your HR data, you need to update your firmware to at least 2.65 beta. If you like my applications ... feel free to support their continued development below. paypal.me/vivoactivehrguy For FULL CHANGE LOG .. check out the HR Always thread above. Note .. as of Version 1.44, zones are now calculated off of your user profile settings. This is from the one with the heart in Garmin Connect Mobile. This is so that it is more versatile and the user can set their zones as they see fit. However .. HR Always will do the zones as following. Zone 0 .. anything less then zone 1 starting value. Zone 1 - zone 1 starting to zone 1 max value - 1 Zone 2 - zone 1 max value. to zone 2 max value -1 Zone 3 - zone 2 max value to zone 3 max value -1 Zone 4 - zone 3 max value to zone 4 max value -1 Zone 5 - zone 4 max value and above For example .. max HR of 180 will give you the following if you use the standard Garmin default values. Zone 0 less then 90 bpm Zone 1 90 - 107 bpm Zone 2 108 - 125 bpm Zone 3 126 - 143 bpm Zone 4 144 - 161 bpm Zone 5 higher than 161 bpm
