OGC Watch

OGC for Garmin is a companion app for Origin Golf Club members with an active OGC subscription. Membership is required and can be purchased at https://origingolfclub.co.uk. Once your OGC account is active, this Garmin app gives members an on-course scoring experience from the wrist. Open the app during an active round to view the current hole, true par, round score, live front/middle/back yardages, strokes, putts, fairway result, and GIR. This first Garmin release is intentionally focused on a fast, low-power watch experience that matches the Apple Watch and Wear OS apps. Start or continue a round in OGC, then use Garmin for quick scoring updates while you play. Key Features Active round dashboard. Current hole, true par, live front/middle/back yardages, and round score. Strokes and putts editing. Fairway and GIR tracking. Previous/next hole navigation. Score sync back to your OGC round. Controls START: switch from yardage to scoring, move between scoring fields, then advance to the next hole. UP/DOWN: change hole on the yardage screen, or adjust the selected scoring field. BACK: move back from scoring to yardages, or from a yardage screen to the previous hole scoring screen. Garmin Connect opens the OGC authorization page for one-time account pairing. OGC Garmin account linking enabled by the OGC app. Subscriptions and OGC membership are managed outside this Garmin app at https://origingolfclub.co.uk. Permissions Explanation This app requests the Communications permission so it can retrieve and sync your active OGC round. It requests Positioning so it can calculate live front, middle, and back yardages from your watch location while you play. Privacy Text The Garmin app sends your OGC pairing token to the OGC backend to retrieve and sync your active round. GPS position is used on the watch to calculate yardages to green coordinates for the current hole. OGC account and round data is handled by OGC according to the OGC privacy policy.
