About

Blood Sugar Logger helps you manually record and review blood sugar measurements directly from your Garmin watch. Enter a measurement in either mmol/L or mg/dL, add useful context such as fasting, before a meal, after a meal, bedtime, or exercise, and save it to your history. Your history list makes it easy to browse previous readings. Each measurement is colour-coded using your personal low, high, danger-low, and danger-high limits, helping you quickly identify readings that were inside or outside your configured range. Features • Manual blood sugar entry • Support for mmol/L and mg/dL • Configurable low, high, danger-low, and danger-high limits • Colour-coded measurement history • Measurement contexts such as fasting, meals, bedtime, and exercise • Edit previously saved measurements • View measurements directly on your watch • Optional confirmation before saving • Future support planned for compatible glucose monitors Dexcom setup 1. Enable Share inside the Dexcom G6 or G7 application. 2. Make sure your sensor is active and Dexcom Share is receiving readings. 3. Select Dexcom during monitor setup. 4. Enter the username and password for the Dexcom account publishing the readings. 5. Select your region: - United States - Japan - Everywhere else 6. Select Connect. Blood Sugar Logger will sign in, create and save a Dexcom Share session, and download recent readings. Expired sessions will normally be renewed automatically. Possible Dexcom errors include: - Incorrect username or password. - Too many sign-in attempts. - Incorrect region selected. - Invalid or expired Dexcom Share session. - HTTP 404 if the service endpoint cannot be found. - HTTP 401 or 403 if access is denied. - Garmin network errors when the phone or internet connection is unavailable. Abbott FreeStyle setup The Abbott integration uses LibreLinkUp. 1. The person using the sensor must enable glucose sharing in their Libre application. 2. Invite a LibreLinkUp follower account. 3. Accept the invitation and sign into LibreLinkUp. 4. Complete any agreements or setup screens in LibreLinkUp. 5. Confirm that readings are visible inside LibreLinkUp. 6. Select Abbott FreeStyle on the watch. 7. Enter the LibreLinkUp follower account email and password. 8. Select Connect. Blood Sugar Logger will sign in and automatically try to locate the correct regional Abbott server. Possible Abbott errors include: - Incorrect email or password. - The LibreLinkUp account does not follow a patient. - Additional account action is required in LibreLinkUp. - Regional server discovery failed. - The glucose timestamp could not be parsed. - HTTP or Garmin network errors. xDrip+ setup xDrip+ does not require a username or password. 1. Install and configure xDrip+ on your Android phone. 2. Make sure xDrip+ is receiving glucose readings. 3. Enable the xDrip+ local web service on port 17580. 4. Select xDrip+ during monitor setup. 5. Select Connect. Possible xDrip+ errors include: - HTTP 404 when the xDrip+ web service is disabled or unavailable. - A Garmin network error such as -402 when the watch cannot communicate through the phone. - An invalid response when the endpoint does not return the expected JSON. - No readings when xDrip+ has not recently received glucose data. Phone and internet requirement At this point, automatic glucose syncing requires a working data connection. If your phone is not nearby, BloodSugar cannot download new readings unless the watch has its own usable internet connection through Wi-Fi or cellular data. Previously saved history and manual glucose logging remain available offline. xDrip+ specifically depends on the nearby Android phone because its web service runs locally on that phone. Beta notice Dexcom, Abbott FreeStyle, and xDrip+ support are still in beta. This app is designed as a personal logging and information tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, recommend medication, or replace professional medical care.
