Multi Page Race Notes

Ever taped a piece of paper to your stem or top tube for distances or other notes in a race? This data field allows display of up to 5 pages of text notes on your Garmin Edge 520/820/1000. The display will rotate through the pages. The display time for each page can be defined through the settings. Enter the text through the settings screen in the Garmin Mobile App or Garmin Express. The following can be entered: * Number of text pages to display (1-5). * Page display time: Number of seconds (0-240) to display each page. * Text size: Select the font size used to display the notes text (Tiny, Small, Medium, Large). * Title text: The title displayed at the top of the data field. * Notes text for pages 1-5: Several lines can be displayed for each page. Line breaks for each page have to be entered manually using the '/' (forward slash) as a line separator. Example: Km 23 Cobble Section/Km 45 Gravel 1300m/Km 56 Climb 6% 4km/Km 65 Sprint 350m The number of lines and data per line is dependent on device type and the text size selected. For example the Edge 1000 can display up to 27 lines of data using the Tiny text size on a single field (full page) display. The data field can be displayed on screens with multiple field layouts.
