About

Whether bathing in an ice barrel or a frozen lake, whether as training for ice swimming or just for health reasons. This app is a great way to track your ice bathing. A simple interface with water temperature, time, and heart rate, including internal statistics that can be accessed via the menu. You can set the water temperature manually, as the temperature measurement with the watch is not always ideal. Manual temperature settings are confirmed with the Start/Stop button, even on older models (even if the Back/Lap button says “OK”). The water temperature is not transferred to Garmin Connect, as this is unfortunately not supported by Garmin. However, it can be added manually. As soon as Garmin enables temperature storage from independent app solutions in Garmin Connect, this feature will be integrated retrospectively. Ice bathing sessions are tracked and the progress can be viewed within the app. How long can you stay in the cold water and what was the water temperature? The water temperatures and durations of the past 20 ice baths are shown in two diagrams so that you can clearly track the development of your own cold resistance. More charts have been added: The total weekly duration (the current or last week is indicated by the calendar week) and the average heart rate. The minimum heart rate is shown in the history. Temperature settings, history, and diagrams can be viewed via the app menu! How this is opened depends on the watch model. An activity is saved as activity type "Other" in Garmin Connect. This app increases your motivation to overcome your fears and jump into the cold water.
