one -2: Deep Sleep (below 30 percent max HR) - Your body's deepest recovery state with the lowest heart rate
Zones Info:
Zone -1: Light Sleep (30-40 percent max HR) - Transitional sleep state where your body is winding down
Zone 0: Rest (40-50 percent max HR) - Completely at rest, perfect for relaxation and recovery days
Zone 1: Recovery (50-60 percent max HR) - Easy effort ideal for warm-ups, cool-downs, and active recovery
Zone 2: Endurance (60-70 percent max HR) - Comfortable steady state great for longer sustainable workouts
Zone 3: Tempo (70-80 percent max HR) - Moderate intensity that's challenging but manageable
Zone 4: Threshold (80-90 percent max HR) - Hard effort near your lactate threshold for serious training

HR Zones - Setup Guide & Usage Instructions
Initial Setup
When you first launch HR Zones, follow these steps to get the most out of the app:

Data is refreshed every 20 minutes in the background, and displayed when the views are drawn. To forace a redraw open the app, Or navigate to other screens while the app is open.
Step 1: Enter Your Age
Navigate to the app settings and enter your age (12-100 years). HR Zones uses this to calculate your personal maximum heart rate using the formula: 220 - Your Age. This personalized calculation ensures all HR zones are tailored specifically to you.
Step 2: Enable Zone Monitoring
In settings, toggle "Zone Monitoring" to enable continuous stress and HR monitoring. This activates background processing that tracks your heart rate throughout the day and night, capturing your complete HR data for analysis.
Step 3: Choose Your Profile
Select between two stress analysis profiles:
Best Stress Profile: Displays overall stress score plus Rest, Low, Medium, and High stress categories
Rolling Average Stress Profile: Shows smoothed HR trends plus the same stress categories
Choose whichever gives you better insights for your fitness goals.
Step 4: Set Your Profile Period
Select the time window for trend analysis:
31 Days: See your recent patterns and short-term changes
12 Weeks: Track quarterly performance and seasonal trends
6 Months: Monitor long-term wellness patterns and progress
Using the App
Main Views
Last Night View: Displays your complete sleep session from the previous night in a beautiful segmented ring. Shows how much time you spent in deep sleep, light sleep, and rest zones. Perfect for understanding your recovery quality.
Profile View: Shows your stress monitoring trends and HR patterns over your selected time period. Compare how your zones change day-to-day, week-to-week, or month-to-month.
Raw Data View: Provides detailed breakdowns of your HR data for users who want comprehensive statistics and deeper analysis.

Throughout the day, the app automatically categorizes your heart rate into 8 zones:
