About
MaxiField is a Complex Data Field for Vivoactive that combines important running datas on one unique screen. You just have to configure the screen in "1 field" mode.
Screen contains following values:
SPD: Current Speed (km/h, mph)
DST: Distance (km, mi)
SYS: Battery usage and GPS signal strength
Center: Current heart rate value. The 5 HR zones defined in User profile are displayed on a horizontal bar and a cursor show the current position and the % Value. The red circle show the max HR value measured during the session.
CAD: Cadence
TIME; Elapsed time
VO2Max: VO2max estimation (the HR availability is needed).
For maximum precision the VO2max estimate should be done during a run with constant pace and heart rate. A quality evaluation is performed and a colour is used depending of the pace and heart rate variation (since v1.3 ).
RED: Too much variation of pace AND heart rate.
BLUE: Too much variation of pace OR heart rate.
WHITE: Good measure. In this case, VO2max value is memorized and updated if a better value is measured during the session : ONLY IN THIS CASE the VO2max value will be present in the Garmin Connect Activity Summary (see image 3 & 4).
If no WHITE value is available, the last BLUE value is now dispayed on Garmin Connect.
