GGlance - CGM DataField Libre Dexcom
· vv3.3
About
GGlance shows your FreeStyle Libre or Dexcom CGM glucose on your data screen while you train - big value, trend arrow, and a color-coded history graph - so you can watch your blood sugar on a run or ride without reaching for your phone. Works with FreeStyle Libre 2 and 3 (LibreLinkUp) and Dexcom G6/G7 (Dexcom Share). Free, no ads.

━━━━━━━━━━━━
SETUP
1. Follow the step-by-step guide at https://gglance.app/en/tutorials
2. Add GGlance as a Connect IQ data field to an activity screen
3. Enter your CGM login in THIS field's settings - data fields have their own, separate from the GGlance app
━━━━━━━━━━━━
FEATURES
• Big value with trend arrow, color-coded by range
• History graph, 1-12 hours, with high/low guide lines and a live "now" dot - or off for a bigger number
• Saves glucose into the activity - the curve appears on your Garmin Connect chart, with avg, min and max
• Low alert - vibrates and turns red when a FRESH reading drops below your low threshold (can be turned off)
• Color zones - white in range, yellow/orange high, red low
• Reading age shown, and the value greys when stale
• Units in mg/dL or mmol/L, recorded in the same units
• Your own high/low targets, update interval (1-5 min), 24h or AM/PM
• Any activity, 100+ watches: Forerunner, Fenix, Epix, Venu, Edge
━━━━━━━━━━━━
REQUIREMENTS
Your phone nearby with internet during the activity. Pick your CGM source in the settings, then enter that account's login.
IF YOU USE FREESTYLE LIBRE
• A Libre 2 or 3 sensor with the LibreLink app on your phone
• A LibreLinkUp (https://www.librelinkup.com) "follower" account following your sensor - enter ITS email and password, not your Abbott/LibreLink login
• Accept any pending terms in the LibreLinkUp app first, or sign-in is refused
IF YOU USE DEXCOM
• A Dexcom G6 or G7 (G4/G5 too). Dexcom ONE and ONE+ are NOT supported - no Dexcom Share, so no app can read them
• Dexcom Share ON with at least one follower (Dexcom app, Settings then Share). With no follower Dexcom uploads nothing, so there is nothing to read - you can follow yourself from a second phone
• Use the login of the PERSON WEARING THE SENSOR - the account that publishes readings. Opposite of Libre: a Dexcom follower login signs in but shows no data
━━━━━━━━━━━━
PRIVACY
No account, no tracking, and your glucose history is never stored on a server.
• FreeStyle Libre: your password never leaves your phone - the watch signs in directly with Abbott
• Dexcom: sign-in goes through the GGlance relay, as watches cannot read Dexcom's replies directly. Credentials are sent encrypted, forwarded only to Dexcom, never stored or logged

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER
GGlance is for informational and convenience purposes only. It is NOT a medical device and is NOT intended for diagnosis, treatment decisions, insulin dosing, or any therapeutic purpose. It does not replace your Libre or Dexcom system, a glucose meter, or professional medical advice.
Values may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. The low-glucose vibration alert is a convenience only - it can be delayed or missed (out of phone range, alert off, stale reading, or the field not on your active screen) and must NOT be relied on as a medical alarm.
Always confirm critical values with your official LibreLink or Dexcom app, your sensor, or a meter, and follow your healthcare provider's guidance. Availability depends on your CGM service, your phone and watch internet, and GGlance status.
